The Perfect Pumpkin Snack, and It’s NOT Pumpkin Pie…

Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about!

So many people get so psyched for the fall season because that means Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Spice candles, etc. EVERYTHING becomes pumpkin flavored or scented. Ok no offense to the Pumpkin Pie, but I’m not a fan. For some reason, I just can’t relate to the hype. BUT roasted Pumpkin Seeds, now that’s what I’m talkin’ about!

The traditionalist in me.

My mom started this tradition, back when we were younger, of carving pumpkins with a group of the neighborhood kids. But before we could carve out our scariest designs, we would gut the pumpkins of all their seeds, dry them out, and bake them. Each kid that brought a pumpkin to carve, got to pick their own flavor to bake and bring home!

Savory, cheesy, sweet, and crunchy!
