Falling in Love with Savannah

So far this year, I have been having so much fun doing a bunch of different photoshoots and meeting lots of great people. But some time in September I realized that almost all of my shoots were for someone else. And with that mind I also realized how long it had been since the last I just picked up my camera to explore for myself. So I went out with my big ole camera, looking like a tourist in my own town, and shot things that I thought were beautiful or maybe hadn’t noticed before.

Now if I’m being honest, my original idea was to go out and shoot some Fall scenery. But there is no Fall in Savannah. Fall in Savannah consists of people walking around sweating in their layered outfits and boots with a bunch of moss-filled pumpkins everywhere. Honestly the South really makes me miss the seasons in Illinois.

But with that being said, Savannah does have it’s own little charm. And I know that when the day comes that I have to leave, I’ll miss it. Savannah, Georgia is where I started my adult life, started my career, met my amazing boyfriend, and made so many friendships that I hope last a life time. So I thought I would take you for a walk with me around a town that has a special place in my heart, just for the fun of exploring.

(I know this post is short and hopefully sweet. I will get better at this whole blogging thing, I promise.)
